Karin Spencer was born and raised in the Detroit metro area. She always had a love for dance and began training at age 6. She attended MBS Academy, the Zone Dance Center and later went on to Oakland University where she received her BA in Dance and Psychology. In 2015, she was the recipient of the MaTilDa award for Outstanding Dance Performance and after graduation she studied abroad in Berlin, Germany at the Tanzfabrik (Free University of Berlin). In 2016, Karin set her sights on Los Angeles to pursue dance and modeling professionally. She has worked with brands such as Fab Fit Fun, Karmagraphy, AirLango, Red Releve, Burlington Coat Factory and even appeared on the Steve Harvey TV Show. In 2019, Karin had the pleasure of touring with Jump Dance Convention for the 2019-2020 season. In 2021 she joined Contexture Dance Detroit, a contemporary company in her home town. 2022 presented her with a new opportunity to join Dance Catalyst, a breakdance company, that allowed her the chance to perform in NYC. More recently Karin performs at local events such as Royal Oak Pride and the Dirty Show. Additionally she will compete as talent in the MGA pageant in 2025.
